Hearty Biscuit Sandwich Adds New Treat to Popular Breakfast Menu

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – July 25, 2005 – Making a good thing even better, Hardee's® announced a new addition to its already popular line of Made From Scratch™ Buttermilk Biscuit sandwiches, the Grilled Pork Chop Biscuit™, starting today at participating locations.

"Hardee's has long been known as a breakfast innovator in the fast-food industry, and the Grilled Pork Chop Biscuit is yet another testament to that," said Brad Haley, Hardee's executive vice president of marketing. "Our Made From Scratch™ Buttermilk Biscuits have always anchored our breakfast menu, and by combining them with a great-tasting, boneless grilled pork chop, we've created a new breakfast sandwich that we think people will love. No other major fast-food chain has ever been able to offer a high-quality, real pork chop fillet to its guests, and serving them on a famous Hardee's biscuit is like a slice of 'breakfast heaven.'"

The Grilled Pork Chop Biscuit features a grilled, basted pork chop on a Hardee's Made From Scratch™ Biscuit, and is available for a limited time at participating Hardee's restaurants.

Suggested retail price is $2.69 by itself, or $4.09 for a small combo including hash rounds and coffee. Prices may vary at some restaurants.
